EXO To Get Up Close And Personal With K-Pop Legends In New Variety Show

EXO fans have a lot to be excited about during the month of August because the popular K-Pop idol group will be appearing in a new variety show.

CJ E&M confirmed the news to TV Report on July 25th. "It is true that EXO is preparing for a new variety show. It will start airing in early August," stated a rep from the company.  CJ E&M will be producing the show and it will air on Mnet.

The show is titled K-Pop Time Slip: EXO 90:2014 and will feature the EXO members meeting various K-Pop icons and entertainers who were popular in the 90's, such as Korean entertainment industry mainstays, Shinhwa.

During discussions with their guests, EXO will outline first generation K-Pop hits and showcase how the genre and pop culture has evolved over the years.  

A production team member for EXO 90:2014 stated, "We are looking forward to showcasing the 2014 versions of our sunbaes' hit songs with a sense of responsibility." The staff member further said, "We felt that EXO were the most fitting to become the main characters who will connect the beginning of Hallyu, the '90s, with 2014. We look forward to the re-living of the past culture and memories of the '90s by bringing together the pioneers of K-Pop and EXO, who are leading the Hallyu craze."

EXO's new variety show is scheduled to kick off on August 15th at 10:00 PM (KST) on Mnet.

Currently EXO is in the midst of their "Lost Planet" world tour in China. On July 27th, the guys will travel to Changsha and on August 23rd, they will perform in Singapore.

EXO’s Sehun Warns His Sasaeng Fans for Hacking His Account

This time, EXO’s Sehun got mad at sasaeng fan (probably) for crossing the line to his instagram account.

Sehun said that he got message requested verification numbers, tried to change the password, and logged on from a different ip address. He said that he never requested that and assuming that it’s probably sasaeng fans or other who’s trying to hack his account.

Then Sehun posted this message on his instagram, showing his anger.

EXO releases first exciting teaser for new reality show 'xoxo EXO'

For those of you still deploring the end of EXO's successful run on 'Showtime,' here is some great news!  These trendy boys will have a new reality program with Mnet called 'xoxo EXO,' which will follow the boys' activities after they make their comeback.  Of course, the 'xoxo' in the title stands for 'kisses and hugs,' symbolizing fans' love for the twelve handsome members of EXO.

As it will follow the boys in all of their promotions, it will of course show the boys both on and off the stage in a global environment.  

The production team said, "It would not be wrong to say that these idols are the busiest idols of Korea in 2014; stories about their comeback and their global activities will all be revealed.  That heated moment when all of the world's eyes focus on EXO with even more energy will be covered by 'xoxo EXO' from the very start, so have high expectations."

BAEKHYUN WRITES HEARTFELT LETTER TO FANS, “EXO IS A NAME THAT IS SO PRECIOUS TO ME”

Since news broke out of EXO Baekhyun and Girls’ Generation Taeyeon’s relationship, EXO has been on tour and Baekhyun had not released a message to fans.

Now, he has left a message to fans on Instagram.

Hello, this is Baekhyun. Although it’s very late.. I’m leaving these words here to tell all the fans that I’m sorry for the disappointment and pain I’ve given you. 

I’ve written and erased my words many times, but I felt as if I was just making excuses and didn’t have the courage to express my heart and resolve the misunderstandings.. I also thought that just saying this would also be meaningless.. So even now, I’m worried and my heart is uneasy that you might be hurt again because of this post and that I might regret putting this up.. But, I really wanted to express my sincere feelings so I’m writing this post. 

I’m so sorry that I caused pain to fans who have always been precious to me. And I’m sorry again that I hurt you more through the misunderstandings that came from this situation. 

I wish that.. our fans will no longer hurt.. Although I’m really undeserving, I will do my best to slowly approach you all again.. And EXO is a name that is so precious to me. I want to tell you that I’ve never thought of EXO lightly.

I will continue to strive to become EXO’s Baekhyun who does his best on and off stage. I hope that these words at least will come off sincere.
